Yip Seng Kopitiam @ Kuala Ampang, Ampang

The most important meal of the day is breakfast. Living almost within walking distance to a market, my first post will be one that i have regularly visited and have grown up with. The Kuala Ampang market in Ulu Klang has small wet and dry sections, and several kopitiams for breakfast to complete your morning marketing. The one that i usually go to is the Yip Seng Kopitiam . It is the second kopitiam you will see when you walk towards the market from the football field. This kopitiam opens for breakfast and lunch, and closes every alternate Mondays. One of the signature drinks this kopitiam boasts is the Iced Lemon Tea, or 'leng cha'. Definitely thirst-quenching. There are other drinks served to like coffee, coffee-o, Milo, tea, and barley. You can have a slice or two of bread, toasted or steamed with butter or margarine, and half-boiled eggs- much like your regular breakfast but in a kopitiam environment. Dry Pork Noodles.
