Labuan in 2014 and 2015
For business, but when it meets pleasure, as a duty free destination, one would expect to buy lots and lots of chocolates and alcohols. Labuan has other interesting sites and is popular with seafood. My most memorable experience there would be the marine park islands' visit.

Penang Island, Penang in 2014
Food, food, food. A hawker's paradise, i realized now why Penang is recognized by the Lonely Planet as the top spot for foodies in 2014. The tastes of the Pasembur, Mee Goreng and Hokkien Mee (Prawn Mee) still linger in my mouth. In between meals, explore Penang Island, be mesmerized by George Town, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, and soak in the art and culture of the people.

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2013.
From the waters of Sapi Island to the peak of Mount Kinabalu, i knew i came back stronger- mentally and physically. A little muscle sore and sun burned, but one of my life's goals achieved.

Kuching, Sarawak in 2011.
Nature, culture, history and food spread throughout this adventure. I recall being on top of the cliff at Bako National Park, watching the show at the Cultural Village, visiting the peculiar Cat Museum and devouring my favourite Tomato Noodles.

Hokkaido, Japan in 2015
My first time seeing, touching and playing on snow, Hokkaido has captured the heart with its lovely charm. Notable for its seafood, crabs were almost in every meal. Famous for its milk too, desserts were amazing. A tour organized by Apple.

Abu Dhabi, UAE in 2015
I spent a few weeks in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi city and visited Dubai on one weekend. Magnificent man-made structures meet some thrilling rides. My favourite here is the Sheikh Zayed Mosque- truly grand and beautiful.

Paris, France in 2014
The city of love, Paris has so much to offer. From romantic dates with the Tower to underground catacombs, priceless art museums to historic sites; fond memories to ugly scam experience. I grew up dreaming of a visit to these places and i had the chance to live it. My first experience in Europe.

Beijing, China in 2013
The city stunned me with its enormous size. Home to one of my favourite wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China, Beijing offered more than i asked for- Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Olympic Park, temples, bizarre food, panda and an unforgettable feeling of being scammed!

Cambodia in 2013.
Angkor Wat is just a fraction of what amazed me at the Angkor Archeological Park. A country rich in ancient history and is now moving on from a recent one made my visit to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap a wonderful and an eye-opening one. There is a quiet resonance that calls me to return.

Taiwan in 2011.
Language is not a barrier if you know not to make it one. I knew not to let that get in the way of me standing in front of one of the world's tallest buildings- Taipei 101, my date with the Queen's Head in Yehliu and my appetite for street food!
