[Wyack TV] RM: Personal Fav of Cameron Valley Tea Shop

Image
Apart from strawberries, another popular experience in Cameron Highlands, Pahang is a visit to the tea plantation. But which one? Relatively more famous (and from the recent pics online, more touristy) is the Boh Tea Plantation. I read about the crowd so instead, researched about Cameron Valley Tea sites. There are three, so pop comes the question, which is my favourite? I visited all three and watch to find out. Enjoy the greenery while you're at it. Also in this video is perhaps the best lemon cheesecake i tasted, hidden in a cosy shoplot. Thanks for watching. If you like what you watch, do like, share and subscribe to support my channel.

My Myanmar Journey: A Bagan Chapter

Image
Is train lag a thing? Because i sort of had it. One, time in Myanmar is an hour and a half behind Malaysia. This was the first time i had to use thirty minutes or 0.5 hr in calculating back to Malaysian time. Strange but true. Lucky there was no need for watch adjustment between Bagan and Yangon. By six in the morning, the sky turned blue then amber, unlike Kuala Lumpur when it gets bright at seven. Sunset was about 6.30pm. As soon as the train halted at Bagan Railway Station , we were once again swarmed by locals offering taxi service to town. We read that there was Grab service in Bagan; unfortunately, when we fired up the a...

My Myanmar Journey: Rangoon is Yangon

On my way home from the airport, my Grab driver asked me where i went. I told him Myanmar and this quickly piqued his curiousity. He mentioned that he seldom hear of people traveling to Myanmar, what more for leisure, and continued with a few more questions about the country i now know the answers to. Do you know that Myanmar is the second largest country by land in Southeast Asia? Driven by the agriculture industry, the current country population is 1.7 times that of Malaysia according to World Population Review 2019. I gladly replied him while replaying the week-long travel i just returned from. Despite the many temple visits (at least one pagoda/stupa/temple everyday in our itinerary), this travel was more cultural to me than it was spiritual. And i thoroughly enjoyed the food! I even mentioned it to my Grab driver who didn't sound convinced. Mon ethnic cuisine, Shan state inspired delicacies, Chinese and Indian mixed dishes occupy the menu beside local food fares. Vegetarian...
