Porto Romano, The Intermark, KL
I had always walked past this eatery, located at a corner near the center of the Mall, outside looking in. This time, to celebrate my dad's birthday, my family and i entered; i was quickly amused by the decor inside. Definitely prettier than what i saw from the outside. The place is cozy with classy Italian vibe.
We were brought to our tables (we did not make reservation but lucky enough to have a big enough table to fit us). As i leafed through the menu, i realized that there are many choices of pasta and pizza, and if they are not your choice, there are other dishes worth considering too. Because there is a recommendation sign next to the Porto Romano Pasta, i picked that.

Salad and octopus.
Creamy with delicious mushroom flavour. Recommended.
My Spaghetti Porto Romano. It is described as spicy but personally, it was just perfect for my liking (not spicy at all for a Malaysian tongue). The right balance of sour and salty, whets the appetite. The amount of seafood in the plate was plenty and fresh, hence this dish is worth the price. I enjoyed this and no wonder this is a recommended one.
Mediterranean Pizza! Yummy; authentic. Crunchy crust with tasty toppings of turkey ham and mushroom. It can hardly go wrong with mushroom (am a mushroom fan anyway) and definitely not wrong here. Good to share.
Mum's Filetto di Branzino- sounds sexy. Pretty good too.
Sauce was OK to me but was a tad too sour for my dad. He claimed it tasted different than what he'd tried before. Still, the meat is tender.
The dinner here proved to be a pleasant experience and the food is good too! With a wide selection of their menu, i can see myself coming back to try more.
